Divine Group - A Journey
The first society under the divine group was established with the name and style of SHTR (Society for Human Transformation and Research) that was registered on July 13, 1998 vide Registration No. 33252 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860. SHTR is also registered under Section 12 A and 80 G of the Income Tax Act, 1961 as a charitable and tax exempt organization. SHTR has been promoted mainly by luminaries from the field of academics having national and international recognition. SHTR is dedicated to sustainable human development through transformation of human beings. The Society started its main operations in 1999 and within a short span of time it has been able to establish the following units or sister organizations:
1. Delhi School of Professional Studies and Research (Affiliated to GGS Indraprastha University – Established by Govt. of NCT of Delhi as a State University – Admission taken till 2007) (Approved by All India Council for Technical Education – AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India) and running the following programmes the admissions of which are done by a national level test CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA followed by GD and Interview:
a) Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Full Time
b) Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) Part Time
DSPSR has a permanent campus in 2000 sq. mts. (half acre) land allotted by DDA – 9 Institutional Area, Sector 25, Rohini, Delhi – 110085. (www.dspsr.in)
2. Delhi School of e Learning (Recognised Study Center of GJ University, Hisar – Haryana State Technical University) and running the following programmes the admissions of which are done by a common entrance test conducted by DSeL:
a) MBA- Master of Business Administration (2 year post graduate degree programme started from August 2003)
b) MCA- Master of Computer Applications (3 year post graduate degree programme started from August 2002)
c) BBA- Bachelor of Business Administration (3 year degree programme since 2002)
d) PGDMC- Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication (1 year diploma since 2003)
DSeL is currently being run at AG-22, Shalimar Bagh, Main Ring Road, Delhi – 110088.
3. Society for Human Transformation and Research, Raipur registered as society in Raipur promoted by SHTR Delhi for establishing a Private University in 2003 which has now purchased 31.14 Acres of Land in District Raipur, Chhattisgarh.
4. SHTR Consulting Group (SCG) (www.shtrconsultinggroup.com) is the research and consulting wing of SHTR which has the distinction of making a branded software (e11) in the field of e-CRM i.e., e Customer Relationship Management (One module of URM Sewa Project - Unified Relationship Management Software) which has been sold in more than a dozen countries including USA, China, Australia, Singapore, etc. SCG which was the incubator lab. (Research and Development centre) of SHTR has now earned the distinction of commercializing the R&D output and has now handed over to a commercial entity for further R&D and marketing at the global level. The name of the commercial entity is Value One Infotech Private Ltd. having corporate office at 201 LSC Ashok Vihar, Phase III, Delhi – 110052. Value One has been recognized by Technology Development Board (TDB), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, New Delhi, as a Research based company developing software and has sanctioned a soft loan of Rs.320 lacs. Value One still outsources R&D from SCG and pays substantial amount of money for the same. Value One is also required to pay royalty to SHTR for the transfer of IPR for further R&D and commercialization in the name of Unified Relationship Management Software (URM Sewa Project). 5. SHTR Publication Division publishes apart from books an international journal-DBR (Delhi Business Review: An International Journal of Society for Human Transformation and Research) which has the distinction of being listed in the Cabell’s Directory, USA. It is a blind peer reviewed half yearly journal. The Registered Office of SHTR is currently the office of the publication division i.e., 22-Vaishali, Pitam Pura, Delhi-110088. DBR is being published regularly since Jan. 2000 till date and is considered to be a very prestigious international journal. (www.delhibusinessreview.org)
6. SHTR Conferences and Seminars Group has been regularly organizing international conferences and international seminar since January, 2000. Nine International Conferences and Ten International Seminars have been organized till date. The Eleventh International Seminar is scheduled to be held on “Global Meltdown or Recession: India vis-à-vis Rest of the world from Jan. 4 to 5, 2010 at New Delhi (www.internationalseminar.org) and the Tenth International Conference is scheduled to be held from June 23-26, 2009 at Szent Istvan University, Hungary on the broad theme: “U. N. Millennium Development Goals: Challenges and Perspectives” (www.internationalconference.in)
